How was Miele in culla© born?
The idea of preserving honey in a wax pot was born by pure chance and in a nice way. Pressed during a trip by a dear friend of mine about the world of bees, to the question “why is honey eaten directly from the honeycomb better?”, annoyed I replied “I don’t know… it’s probably the wax that makes it better”. Once I finished the sentence I had a clear image of what I had to do and why. I turned to Raffaello (the annoying friend) and told him decisively “We have to make a pot made entirely of beeswax.”
Since then the journey has been long and fraught with challenges but with a unique result, indeed, I’m not ashamed to say, perfect.
